When Will the Mainstream Media Wake Up?

When will the media wake up? Never, most likely. But yet the continue to kill us over the Lamont Lieberman battle, and they continue to attack us for being the extreme left, etc etc. But while they do that, they give us more and more credit for the Lamont situation (although it wasn't only us that got him the nomination). By giving us credit, whether they like it or not, they draw attention to us, and now more and more people are logging onto sites like MyDD, DailyKos, and Atrios to get their piece of the blogging pie.

Eventually, computers and the internet will become what T.V and Radio are now. They will be the most viewed, most used element of media. Right now, some people STILL don't use computers (the elderly, those who just aren't willing to learn). Most people have watched T.V in their lives, or have listened to a radio.

Kerry and Company Debate Iraq Amendments

Tonight John Kerry and his Democratic supporters are having an extremely wise debate over the current state of Iraq and Mr.Kerry's proposal to withdraw most forces from Iraq by July 1 2007, leaving special forces to help the some 400,000 combined Iraqi Soldiers, Police Forces, and other trained protectors of the peace.

The New York Times ran an article in which they talked about the division within the Democratic party about the two amendments on Iraq. Here is an excerpt.

The Simplicity of Liberals and the Complications of Conservatives

The liberal cause is a much more direct, simple path then many would imagine. We are pretty straight shooters, we set up blogs that anyone can set up pretty quickly, we publish our thoughts (which aren't necessarily simple) without too many complicated media ranglings and radio frequencies.

The conservatives on the other hand have to wade through corporate corruption, all of the lies, and they seem to only want to express themselves through television and talk radio (on their biggest scales).

Halliburton and others: 86 percent Raise

According to a new report, federal procurement spending has gone up 175 Billion. Halliburton, the poster child for Bush's fraud and corruption campaigns, gained 600 %. So what does this mean for us?

Coaltion of the Willing: Losing it's Will.

As Japan prepares to pull its troops out of Iraq, we again re-vist the Bush-ism "Coalition of the Willing". But Japan has become the 18th nation to leave Iraq before the end of the war (whenever that is coming). The number of willing who are still actually willing is dwindling quickly as we continue to see massive violence in Iraq.

With the departure of Japan, 18 members of the coalition have left Iraq. Japan called their stay a success, but it could hardly be more then a P.R stunt, considering the fact that the civil war has escalated the violence to all time highs. With the death of the 2500 U.S soldier, other countries may not be "willing" to see their young men and women be in harms way to much longer.

November Plan

With Jack Murtha coming out in full force against the war for a second time, the question is raised yet again. What the hell are we going to do with Iraq? What are we going to do on a lot of issues?

The Democrats are obviously more competent at this point but will have a hard time showing that without some real, detailed plans for the country. I saw Howard Dean on CNN today and he kept saying how we have the better ideas, which is obviously true. But what Karl Rove and company do so well is drive home their points, none of which actually make any sense. It is the constant mashing of their propaganda into the depths of your soul which keeps their approval ratings above 0.
